The St. Louis Metropolitan Pigeon Fanciers Association (SLMPFA for short) was founded in 1958 and, promotes fancy, utility, performing, and racing pigeons in conjunction with Mount Pleasant Homing Pigeon Club.
We currently have over 55 members most who are very active with the club. Our associations monthly gatherings has changed to now the second Thursday of each month at the Afton Elks Lodge. All are welcome to attend our monthly meetings for some good pigeon talk & fellowship. The address to the Afton Elks Lodge is 6330 Heege Rd, St Louis, MO, 63123 Phone # ( 314) 481-6104.
The SLMPFA has a yearly spring banquet, summer picnic and a winter all breed show. The winter show is usually held the first or second weekend of January and has been steadily growing every year with more birds & specialty clubs wanting to attend.
We are fortunate to have many members take an active role in the club weather helping a new member start out on the right foot or setting up & cleaning up after our annual show.
I invite one and all to join our club. If you are in the St. Louis, MO vicinity feel free to attend one of our monthly meetings. We also have a yearly Spring Banquet, Summer Picnic, and our Annual Show. Each member receives a membership directory that lists what breeds our members have.
Annual dues are only $10.00 and should be made payable to SLMPFA. All dues or addition questions about our club should be directed to:
